Not surprisingly, exploration is at the heart of Uncorked Explorers - Exploring wine regions around the world, but also exploring the vineyard decisions and winemaking choices that shape the aromas and flavors of the wines we drink. We’ll also be exploring some of the amazing activities that each region offers.

At its launch in early 2024, the site will have a fairly limited amount of material, including the materials described below and videos on a few wine regions. As we explore the World of Wine, we’ll add more Regional Videos and Winemaking Videos.

Our motto is “Get Smarter While You Drink Wine”, so it also shouldn’t surprise you that we’ll be making wine tasting recommendations to go along with our videos. Our “Tasting Detective” video will give you a fresh look at how to decipher the aromas and flavors of the wine you are tasting.

We all know that tasting wine is more fun when you do it with other people, and our brief video on “Hosting a Wine Tasting”, and the downloadable checklist will make hosting a tasting stress-free.

Since pairing good wine with good food is one of the great pleasures of life, we’ll cover some basics of “Pairing Food With Wine” in a way that makes these decisions fairly simple.

Finally, so that you are ready with the right wine for whatever food you might decide on at the spur of the moment, we have a video on “Stocking a Wine Cellar” that gives you recommendations from a few bottles to an extensive collection.
