Tasting wine is a lot more fun when you do it with other people. Uncorked Explorers takes the stress out of hosting.

Hosting a Wine Tasting

Hosting a wine tasting involves a little advance preparation, and a happy disposition during the tasting. Uncorked Explorers makes the advance preparation a breeze by providing you with a handy checklist, a list of wines for the tasting (with a link on how to order them), and some background materials on the wines and the tasting generally. We also provide a video you can use during the tasting. We can’t help you with the happy disposition, that one’s on you.

Uncorked Explorer tastings are divided into two main groups. Regional Tastings highlight the wines of that region, but also the history, geography, climate, and activities in that region. Winemaking Tastings that highlight either the differences between grapes or how different growing conditions and winemaking decisions can impact the taste and aroma of a wine. You’ll find the Regional Tastings in the various regional materials under the “Exploring” part of this site. The Winemaking Tastings are set out on the “Tasting Detective” part of this site.
